Paul is a master woodcarver and gilder.  He has restored many architectural landmarks such as re-gilding the Clock Tower in Sheerness on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent.  The Sheerness clock tower is one of the oldest & largest free standing cast iron clock towers in England measuring 36 feet in height.  The Sheerness clock tower was first erected to celebrate the coronation of King Edward VII in 1902 and cost the town’s people of Sheerness £360.

Paul also re-gilded mouldings for the British Ambassador's Residence in Moscow.  In addition, Paul's gilding expertise extends to restoring and gilding frames, tables, heraldic coats of arms, and commercial and residential signs.
